First held in 1999, PDXLX is a staple of swing jazz and dance in the Pacific Northwest. This year we’re featuring four days and three nights of dancing, six incredible regional swing bands, eight hours of workshops with national-level instructors, and three no-cost community events highlighting our city!
Founded in 2020, the Rhythm Wrecker Dance Band is a Portland, OR based swing band led by drummer and swing dancer Eddie Montejo. Formed by dancers and for dancers, the Rhythm Wrecker Dance Band plays solid, four-to-the bar swing with a commitment to making danceable music for lindy hop and swing.
