Slow Balboa is a vintage swing dance that originated in southern California in the 1920s, created specifically for slow tunes. Familiarity with Balboa is recommended. This series will be a progressive beginning class that starts with the basic steps and adds in moves and styling each week. Join us to learn this fun, elegant dance that makes dancing to Slow Jazz so sweet!

We DJ music just like a regular social dance. You can come out and just dance like normal, or you can come planning to work on something: Ask for feedback, work on a move, play with variations, master a routine.

>> Have a specific question?
Experienced dancers and local teachers are available at practicum to help out with sticky spots.
